South Coast Mission Pharmacy has been a fixture in Laguna Beach for more than 50 years — a quiet constant inside Providence Mission Hospital. When our family took ownership in 2014, we stepped into a legacy of clinical care that had supported the community for decades.

 

Over time, our work naturally shifted as we began collaborating more closely with behavioral health and recovery programs. What started as support for a single treatment center revealed a much broader need in the region: facilities serving patients in recovery required a pharmacy partner who could provide consistent, structured, and reliable medication support.

We saw dedicated treatment teams working tirelessly to create stability for their clients — yet they often lacked a pharmacy aligned with the unique demands of recovery-focused care.

So we adapted.

We strengthened our internal workflows, refined our delivery systems, and shaped our services around the rhythm of residential and dual-diagnosis programs.

As those partnerships grew, so did our purpose.

Today, more than 95% of our operations support dual-diagnosis facilities, residential treatment centers, detox programs, and behavioral health teams across Southern California.
